The venue was beautiful and old. the location was incredible, close enough to all bars, tourist facilities, transport, restaurants, the bus station. the staff were amicable and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful time.

Fairly clean and wonderful hotel, good breakfast. Functional rooms & tiled bathrooms. Plenty of food in the property, rooftop restaurant. Excellent overall experience.

The room was modern and functional, with great views and coffee and tea provided.

I am used to go to malta for business and tried this hotel to change a bit. Great location ; good chef in top roof restaurant( giant salmon torteloni to die for), reasonable service. but unfortunately

Compared to the osborne Hotel (6 street from there ),accommodation is a nightmare. You dont get what you paid or booked for !!!! Booking web site show only few pictures of certain areas of the hotel and you understand why when you get there..... the rooms , especially single room N41 ( the maid bedroom i should say)8 square metre with a dwarf size bed is a nightmare. vintage style is acceptable when it comes with fresh and clean and confortable; but outdated and broken bathroom fixtures ,questionable wall stains near bed is not !!!!! this hotel could be the best place to stay in Valetta with a serious remodeling. Right now it is not delivering .....

I spent a lovely five nights at this place, the room was modern and bright, situated in a charming square with a stunning view of the harbor, and enjoyed a delicious rooftop dinner.

Stay here was enjoyable, I did not want to leave there. Clean, excellent value hotel, the location was comfortable just next door to the roof top restaurant, which has inside seating and outside seating and breath-taking panoramic views of Valletta. Neat and new-fashioned room, the bathroom was immaculately clean. The breakfast was satisfactory with fantastic view and had a huge variety of food.

Located next to bus terminus for easy travel everywhere around the island and in the heart of Valetta. The staff were friendly and more than happy to help any way they could. French style hotel with free wi fi, I would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom was a bit basic and there was no tea making facilities in the room.

Beautiful old and quaint place with modern tidy rooms. Exceptional views of the harbor from the balcony. Free Wi-Fi available. Satisfactory breakfast with lots of meal options.

Thank you very much for the really enjoyable stay for one night. Everything is perfect, the room is a nice size and airy with storage space, the bathroom plus wonderful views. The rooftop restaurant in the hotel is cozy for dinner.

Excellent location for walking around the city or catching a tour bus around the island. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel earns three stars and could not have asked for better.

Unable to change dollars to Euros, read somewhere that they did.

Don't forget to book a double room with a bathroom for great views and enjoy live music in the basement.

It's Maltese charm and comfort. It's over 300 years old, like a stately home, in a perfect city setting for everything Valletta has to offer. The bus terminal is only a few minutes' walk away, which opens up the whole of Malta for exploration. The staff were friendly, happy, and helpful.
